The Amazing Squad of GEMAS
I once know about them from my old friend, Mazwan.
I saw a poster of book surgeon that he posted on his Whatsapp account status.Well, as for a bookworm, a book surgeon meet up is an exciting program.So, I decided to go and meet them. From that first program, I meet these girls (Zahirah,Rahmi,Izah,Ezza) .I was interested to join them. So, I ask Mazwan at the first place to join officially in GEMAS. Well, I get to know the members but not all of them yet (hopefully I get the chance to meet the rest).
It was a very exciting moment to me.
GEMAS was helding the first program which is 'Motivasi Transformasi Minda' at SMK Merpati. That few days with them, discussing and managing.. I get to know each of their hearts. And this is a sweet story that I can remember about them. :)
As for an overall, I would say that they all are AMAZING PEOPLE. That day I get to know Aizat and Farhan too. Never thought it was funny to collaborate together in a sort of first and sort of big program too. We held our first program together in this school with each others trust successfully. I'm being their orator for the first time HAHA I speak to students about reading skills and motivate them to overcome their learning challenges. Most importantly, to tell them to appreciate their opportunity to go to school and to have dreams to achieve. Because there are some people that can't even go to school e.g stateless people, homeless people etc. It was amazing to challenge myself to speak in front of hundreds students though.
I learn many things from them as well.
As for an old friend, Mazwan is a person that I always share about philosophy and thoughts.He's typically always stay cool in his speeches. He is calm in managing students that day.
I get to know Aizat,
he's a spontaneous person though. A funny person. I remember when back in the program day, when he's speaking in the last slot made us feel like we're in a reality show.
Most beautiful thing is here, that I learn many things from the girls.
Zahirah,
she is a person that admires and appreciate people. Including me :) She remembers my quotes, she remember the words that I wrote in my books. That's just sweet to me.
Rahmi,a committed girl.
I love that girl ! She has her own strength and personality.
I love the way she talks. Confident !
Izah,Beauty.
So calm :) I love it.
I feel that calmness and comfort around her.
and Andi,
which I admire the most,
a strong heart person .
I remember the moment when she told me about Fatihah Shuib
(the founder of One Moment For Them). She said Fatihah was like me, but with different type of mental illness. She said she remember that I always give advises in media social to people that suffer anxiety disorder was same like Fatihah Shuib which also gives support to Bipolar disorder.
I remember how each of them concern :)
I remember how Rahmi had talk about it too.
It was just amazing to me.
After all this time, people just doubting about anxiety .
But, they're different.
It gives me strength to keep going and helping,..inspiring and motivating anxiety people to keep fighting their mental illness inside. What I love about GEMAS is ,.. the humanity spirit and soul that they have, to help and teach for the needs.
I guess , I'm just lucky though. :)
Lucky to know them.
They are full of positivity & wisdom.
